Day 31 - Missy's other daughter

This is also inspired by a glamour idea:

What do you think... not exactly the same, a little lower maintenance...

Day 30 - Criss Cross will make you jump

Today's was found on Glamour's beauty blog again...
http://www.glamour.com/beauty/blogs/girls-in-the-beauty-department/2008/11/blair-waldorfs-braid-i-have-to.html
It's from a 2008 episode of Gossip Girl, so I hope it's still in style ;-)

Day 29 - Sheila's Croissant

Sheila - this one's for you... John thought it looked nice ;-)

The bangs are just held back by bobby pins.  As Danette says, I can "do magic with bobby pins!"

Day 28 - Princess Buttercup

Pete named this one... from the princess bride.. I love it!

Day 27 - Half Heidi

So, I saw this style on a girl I was in a conference with and I had to try it. It was harder than normal for me, because the french braid was upside down. I tried about 6 times before getting it to stay...

Day 26

Saw the article 4 easy one minute hairstyles & decided to try one... what do you think?

Day 26 - Headband Harry

When my hubby named todays do, I got "Mustang Sally" stuck in my head.
I'm not sure the volume in the back is going to last, maybe I should
get a bump-it...

Day 25 - Pocohantas on a Rope

I was hoping for day 25 to be a fantastic, creative hairstyle, but I
woke up late... I had put my hair in braids the night before, so
that's the source of the wave. The "rope" is two strands of hair,
each twisted clockwise & then twisted around eachother
counterclockwise...

Day 24 - Knotted Side noodle

I like the hair from the front & side, but not so sure about the back.   I thought the french braid in the back would be good for keeping those shorter hairs in place (which worked well) but I think it looks a little off...

Wedding hairdo

My freind was off to a wedding & she let me do her hair. What do you think?

Day 23 - Half pouf

This was inspired (again) by Glamour. I didn't quite get the volume on top that I was expecting... hmm. I missed that lesson in the 80s.

Day 22 - Salty Sea Dog

So I can't lie... I named this one.  I did a triathlon (called the Clam Man) in a body of sea water, and a ponytail was all I could manage ;-)  Glad I haven't used it yet!

day 21 - right hand blue left foot red (twister)

OK - here's the real pics...

It's a little messy, I know, but I was in a hurry & going to a walk to benefit Myeloma Research (Donate here: http://321cure.themmrf.org/site/TR/RaceforResearch/General?px=1297861&pg=personal&fr_id=1091).  Had to be out of the house by 7 on a Saturday, so I was glad to thik of this easy style.

Here's how:

Make two braids about where you want the bun.

Twist one braid clockwise & wrap around the other ponytail.   Secure with pins.

Twist the second braid counter-clockwise around the first poytail & tuck under the first braid.

Simple!  Only wished I would have had this tip from Glamour Magazine:

day 21 - right hand blue left foot red (twister)

here's a preview of day 21. Im on my way to a triathlon, so won't be able to post until Sunday.

Day 20

This hairstyle was awesome. I twisted back my hair into princess Lea
buns again (see pic) and then let them ou. In the morning & voilà,
instant hair. Seriously doesn't get any easier.

Glamour Magazine: What Kind Of Girl Are You When It Comes To Hair?

Interesting article on chaning your hair!  Camp B all the way!

Day 19 - Evil Nanny

So, I'm starting to run a little uninspired.  I'd say I probably have another 5-10 easy hairdos, but I could use any suggestions!
People have commented (in person) how nice the pictures turn out.  I have to say that it's from "Smize"-ing.  haha, I'm not going to explain it, but ANTM watchers know what I'm referring to.  I know, it's a show for teenage girls, but I sometimes act like a teenage girl.
For this hairstyle, I'm not using a bump-it, although I've thought about buying one.  It's all teasing.  To keep my bangs from falling out all day, I hair sprayed the hair underneath, brushed the bangs on top & sprayed a few more times.  It actually stayed al day!

Day 18 - Keep Rolling

This started with two (Princess Lea) type buns worn to bed at night for the curls.  Then teased in the back for volume & pulled into a ponytail.  The top layers were rolled up & pinned to hide the ponytail band.

Day 17 - Pixie

I know, pixie is usually a short hair style, but I think my hubby thought of elves (think lord of the rings)

Day 16 - Three Strikes for a Bun

Saw this one on Glamour Magazine's website.  Tip 1 I think.
