Hair Requirements for Donating
Hair must be at least 8 inches long (measure from just above the elastic band of the ponytail to the ends), and not more than 5% gray.

Really you just start with doing it. I thought I was going to run out on day 25, day 32, etc... A greaty resource is glamours website. They have a whole section on hairstyles & a daily beauty blog from which I get lots of my ideas. And if you start, do some of the more creative hairstyles first so on a day you're not feeling it you have an easy one left ;-). Actually I'm thinking of going auburn red for
November...
