27 Days Left

Here's some flyers that I'm going to post around to try to get some more participation in the hair cutting event.  What do you think?

Love the flyers - but I must admit I'll miss this blog. I've been growing my hair out for Pantene for over 2 years now. I'm having it cut off on Feb. 12th, a nod to Valentine's Day. You've given me great ideas for different styles. It's been fun playing with it, but when people ask me how I can bear cutting it off after growing it out for so long, my answer is always, "It's not my hair - I've just been taking care of it for someone else."

Like you, I've collected short hairstyles, and have chosen my favorite. I'm excited! Thank you for bringing attention to Pantene's Beautiful Lengths program!!

I wish I lived near you - I live in the Texas panhandle - I'd join y'all for your little cutting party. I'd send you photos of my before and after, if I knew how! I'm not sure I'm going to grow it out again... still undecided.

I like the Criss Cross Remix, but I wish I could see the front right side a little better in the photo. Your ropes are beautiful. I can never get mine to look better than a mess - any advice? Also, a question about your bangs: mine are cut very similar to yours, but I just can't get the hang of sweeping them down and to the side. I'd love some tips on that. You should add a line or 2 to your photo descriptions about what products you've used.

You used my comment in your blog - yay!! Mutual admiration society! :-D

Wow. Lots of questions. 1) to get the ropes to be clean, have some kind of product, mousse, gel, etc to texturize the ropes. Then the key is on the twisting. twist the strands in one directions (I.e away from your face) and then twist them together in the other direction (towards your face)
2) for your bangs most important is the direction of blowdrying. Let say you want your bangs to sweep left to right. Blow dry them right to left (the opposite direction). Then at the wry last minute sweep Then at the last minute you can sweep them back to normal. Hope it helps!
