Day 97 - Arf, Arf That Girl

So the hubby said that Sam Sheep dog was back "arf arf" and the guys at work said it looked like That Girl.

It was supposed to be like Flo on the Progressive, as my Aunt Sylvia suggested, but I guess I should have left more in front of the headband.

So what do you think?  Flo? That Girl?  Jenny?

Can't find the right pic of Jenny...

Hair-athon Styles31-40

In efforts to support Pantene's Beautiful Lengths Program, I've been doing a hair-athon - a marathon of hairstyles and asking for support.  To support, donate your hair, help me find people who have hair long enough to donate or donate to American Cancer Society.
I'm up to day 80 and I'm on a business trip and I'm not sure how much access I'll have to a computer.  So, I've decided to do a mini-recap of the styles so far.  And since I've moved the date of my hair donation from December 22 to February 20 to allow people time to sign up, I need ideas of interesting posts, so here's styles 31 - 40 for those who may not have seen them.

Day 31 - Criss Cross will make you jump

Day 32 - Missy's other daughter

Day 33 - Twisted Lea

Day 34 - High & Mighty This was one of those weekend days where I did almost nothing... I should have done my makeup though!

Day 35 - Toy Poodle

Day 36 - Marsha, Marsha, Marsha

Day 37 - Gone with the Wind

Day 38 - Barbershop Shag

Day 39 - Aunt Jemima

Day 40!!

Day 74 - Tyra, Tyra, Tyra

I was watching ANTM the other day and saw this cute look on the finalists.

It made me think, I wonder if Tyra would be interested in the idea of having a hair marathon to support Pantene's Beautiful Lengths?  If you watch her show, she's always chaging her hair.  Look at her site http://tyrashow.warnerbros.com/ and you can see that in a week's worth of shows, there are no hair repeats...  hmm... I'm persistant, maybe she would be interested.  Think about it.  There could be a show with say 6 donators (that's how many it takes to make a wig) who cut their hair that day.  Maybe she could even invite a woman who's fighting cancer & surprise her with a wig from ACS on the show...  I would watch.

Anyway, here's how my style turned out.  And of course, I smized...

Day 9 - Punky (Brewster) with a Crimp

This is one of my favorite finds of a hairstyle.  To get the waves, I take a small section of hair & twist it tightly.  Then I flatiron it while it's twisted & move onto the next piece while the first cools down.  I look like I have dreds when I'm done!  Then I shake it all out and voila! waves.
